Metricool doubles its X add-on and puts Studio behind a new paid tier

Verified: 2026-08-12, metricool.com/pricing.

Metricool doubled the price of the add-on its X/Twitter support depends on, and moved Metricool Studio and campaign dashboards behind a second, newly priced add-on. Headline plan prices did not move: Starter is still $25/mo for 5 brands and $45 for 10; Advanced $67 for 15 brands, $107 for 25 and $210 for 50 (annual $20/$36/$53/$85/$159).

The X row in the plan comparison table now reads “$10/month per connected account” across Starter, Advanced and Custom, with the tooltip “Cost: X +10$ per connected account per month” (€10 on the EUR view). The last archived copy of the same page, from May 20, 2026, priced the identical row at “$5/month per connected account”, tooltip “Add-on of $5 per connected account”. That is a 100% increase on the surcharge any Metricool customer pays to publish to X, and it is charged per connected account, so it scales with brand count.

The second change is structural. In May the page carried the footnote “Metricool Studio and Campaign Dashboards available at no extra cost for a limited time.” The limited time is over. Plans now list “Limited access to Campaign Dashboards and Metricool Studio”, and unlimited access is sold as an Advanced Analytics add-on priced at “starting at +$12 per month on Starter, starting at +$36 per month on Advanced” (€10 and €30 on the EUR view), bundled with “30 days of historical data”.

We can date neither change more precisely than between May 20 and August 12, 2026 — those are the two states of the page we hold. Both increases sit entirely in the add-on column, so a buyer comparing sticker prices across vendors would not see either one.
