Tailwind scraps its à-la-carte products for credit-metered tiers

Tailwind has rebuilt its pricing page for the second time in two months. The three à-la-carte, per-Pinterest-account products it sold since July — Pin Scheduling & Creation at $29.99/mo ($17.99 annual, 300 credits/mo), Pinterest SEO at $14.99 ($11.99 annual, 50 credits) and Pinterest Engagement at $14.99 ($11.99 annual, 50 credits), with credit refills at $10/100 and a three-product bundle at $29.98/mo annual — are gone. In their place: four conventional tiers.

The new cards read: “Pro … $29.99 $17.99 /mo USD” (“40% OFF”, annual billing) with “150 Tailwind Credits/mo” and “150 Posts/mo across Instagram, Pinterest & Facebook”, 1 account per platform, 1 user; “Advanced … $54.99 $29.99 /mo USD” (“45% OFF”) with 300 credits and 300 posts, 2 accounts per platform, 2 users; “Max … $99.99 $49.99 /mo USD” (“50% OFF”) with 1,000 credits, unlimited posts, 3 accounts per platform, 5 users; and a “Free Forever” tier at $0 with 5 credits and 5 posts a month. The struck-through figures are the month-to-month rates; the billing toggle reads “Annual (save up to 50%)”.

Two details worth noting. At $17.99/mo annual, the old Pin Scheduling & Creation product included 300 credits; the new Pro tier at the same sticker includes 150 — half the allowance at an unchanged price. And Instagram and Facebook are back on the pricing cards as counted, marketed platforms, walking back part of July’s Pinterest-only framing — though the surrounding page and FAQ remain entirely Pinterest-pitched, and the FAQ still cites a stale “Advanced plan, which includes 400 posts/month” against the card’s 300.

The change landed between August 14 and August 17, 2026: our August 14 sweep verified the old three-product page, and the Wayback Machine holds no snapshot in between.

Structurally this is a reversion: the same four tier names and identical allowances (150/300/1,000 credits, 1/2/3 accounts per platform, 1/2/5 users) were Tailwind’s lineup this spring, before the July à-la-carte experiment — but at higher stickers. Month-to-month rates are up $5 on every paid tier against that spring structure (Pro $24.99 → $29.99, Advanced $49.99 → $54.99, Max $94.99 → $99.99), and the first-year annual teaser rates from that era ($14.99/$24.99/$39.99) no longer appear on the cards: the displayed annual prices match what were then the Year-2 renewal rates.
