Tailwind

Verified 2026-09-02 against tailwindapp.com/pricing-overview — Tailwind is currently serving two different pricing pages from the same URL under a split-test cookie; see the latest Watchdog entry. The August reversal is covered in an earlier entry, the restructure it reversed in another, and the July repositioning in the first.

Pricing (two arms of a live split test, both verified 2026-09-02)

Which page a visitor sees depends on the value of the cookie __tw_split_modular_billing_200 assigned on arrival. In our sample of seventeen fresh sessions, twelve drew the tiers and five drew the à-la-carte products.

Control arm (majority): credit-metered tiers

  • Free Forever — $0: 5 Tailwind credits/mo, 5 posts/mo, 1 account
  • Pro — $17.99/mo annual ($29.99 monthly): 150 credits/mo, 150 posts/mo across Instagram, Pinterest & Facebook, 1 account
  • Advanced — $29.99/mo annual ($54.99 monthly): 300 credits/mo, 300 posts/mo, 2 accounts
  • Max — $49.99/mo annual ($99.99 monthly): 1000 credits/mo, unlimited posts, 3 accounts

Variant arm (minority): à-la-carte, per Pinterest account

  • Pin Scheduling & Creation — $17.99/mo annual ($29.99 monthly): 300 Tailwind credits/mo
  • Pinterest SEO — $11.99/mo annual ($14.99 monthly): 50 credits/mo
  • Pinterest Engagement — $11.99/mo annual ($14.99 monthly): 50 credits/mo
  • Bundle, all three — $29.98/mo annual (“a $41.97/mo value”) or $44.98 monthly (“a $59.97/mo value”)
  • Free tier exists (“Start free”), limits not published on the pricing cards
  • Extra credits — $10 per 100, or auto-refill

No dollar figure in either arm differs from what we recorded in July (products) or on August 17 (tiers). The difference between the arms is the shape of the plan: at the same $17.99/mo annual sticker, Pro carries 150 credits where Pin Scheduling & Creation carries 300. The tier arm counts Instagram and Facebook accounts on its cards; the à-la-carte arm is Pinterest-named throughout.

Where it fits

Dedicated Pinterest marketers who want Smart.bio, the Design Gallery (auto-generated post templates per platform), Ghostwriter AI, and Pinterest’s keyword/interest graph — the marketing and FAQ remain entirely Pinterest-pitched even in the tier arm, whose cards count Instagram and Facebook accounts.

Where it doesn’t

No X, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, GBP, or Threads. No mobile app, no inbox, no listening, no client approval, no white label, no paid ads.
