Nine days after replacing its à-la-carte products with credit-metered tiers, Tailwind has put the products back. The Pro, Advanced and Max tiers we logged on August 17 are gone from the pricing page entirely, and the three per-Pinterest-account products they replaced are back at exactly the prices they carried in July.
The page now leads with a “Mix & Match” block and the line “Pick only the Pinterest tools you need, or save with the bundle. Start free — upgrade when you’re ready.” The three product rows read “Pin Scheduling & Creation … $29.99 /mo” with “300 Tailwind credits/mo included”, “Pinterest SEO … $14.99 /mo” with 50 credits, and “Pinterest Engagement … $14.99 /mo” with 50 credits. Those are the month-to-month rates; the annual toggle, which is the page default, shows $17.99, $11.99 and $11.99. A bundle of all three is “$44.98 /mo” against “A $59.97/mo value” monthly, or $29.98/mo annual against “A $41.97/mo value” with “Save $180.00 a year!” beneath it. The credit-refill line is back too: “All plans are per Pinterest account. Need more credits? Buy 100 for $10 anytime, or turn on auto-refill.” The FAQ confirms the model in the vendor’s own words — “Can I buy just one product? Absolutely. Each product — Pin Scheduling & Creation, Pinterest SEO, and Pinterest Engagement — can be purchased individually.”
What is gone is the tier ladder. Neither $54.99 nor $99.99 — the month-to-month rates for Advanced and Max — appears anywhere on the page, and no card names a tier. So does the framing that came with it: the August tiers counted posts “across Instagram, Pinterest & Facebook” and put those two networks back on the pricing cards. Every product on the page today is Pinterest-named, and the footer line is once again per Pinterest account. The July Pinterest-only framing is restored along with the July prices.
Because the prices are identical to the ones the tiers displaced, this is a rollback rather than a reprice. Nobody’s bill moves who was on an à-la-carte product in July; what moves is which shape of plan a new buyer is sold. At $17.99/mo annual a buyer is back to 300 credits under Pin Scheduling & Creation, where the Pro tier at the same sticker included 150 — the halved-allowance point our August 17 entry made is reversed by this change.
The change landed between August 24 and August 26, 2026. Our August 24 sweep read the four tiers live on the same URL, and our August 26 sweep read the products. The Wayback Machine holds no snapshot of either tailwindapp.com/pricing or tailwindapp.com/pricing-overview inside that window, so the window is dated by our own readings and cannot be narrowed further. One side effect is worth recording for anyone checking this themselves: tailwindapp.com/pricing now redirects to /pricing-overview, so the stale legacy document that served July’s page at /pricing through late August is no longer being served.
One inconsistency remains on the vendor’s side. The page’s structured data declares an AggregateOffer with "lowPrice":"0" and "highPrice":"24.99", and $24.99 is not a figure any visible card carries. We report the visible cards, which are the prices a buyer is actually shown.
Prior coverage: Tailwind scraps its à-la-carte products for credit-metered tiers (August 2026), which this entry supersedes, and Tailwind repositions as Pinterest-first, credit-metered (July 2026). Current state on the Tailwind profile.
