CoSchedule has doubled the fee it charges for each X/Twitter profile. Its pricing page carries the row “Twitter/X … Publish to Profiles. Twitter/X profiles are not included in base plans and are billed separately”, priced at “$16 Per Profile / Month” in the two plan columns that publish a figure and marked “Add-On” in the two above them. Our July record for the same row was $8 per profile per month standalone, or $25 per profile per month bundled into the Content and Marketing Suite tiers.
Base plan prices did not move. The page shows Social Calendar at $19 per user per month including 3 social profiles, Agency Calendar at $59 per user per month including 5, both annual rates, with additional non-X profiles at $5 per month each. Every plan card repeats the same footnote: X profiles are excluded from the included-profile count.
The change landed between 2026-07-17, when we verified $8, and 2026-08-25. The Wayback Machine holds no usable snapshot in that window. The only 200 for coschedule.com/pricing since May is a 22KB client-rendered shell with no price table in it, so the window cannot be narrowed further from public archives.
This is the second X surcharge to double in this market inside a month. Metricool moved its X add-on from $5 to $10 per connected account on 2026-08-12. Both increases sit in the add-on column, where a plan-card comparison never looks. A CoSchedule buyer running four X profiles now pays $64 a month for that network alone, before the per-user base plan.
