Verified: 2026-08-24, against each vendor’s own pricing page. Pages checked: www.sprinklr.com/pricing/, promorepublic.com/en/pricing/, www.meltwater.com/en/pricing, www.oktopost.com/pricing/, emplifi.io/pricing/, recurpost.com/plans-and-pricing/.
Disclosure: followedapp.com is published by the team behind RecurPost, and RecurPost is covered at RecurPost’s profile under the same rules as every other vendor, including in this report.
Five vendors in the Directory raise the same question when a buyer opens their pricing page: there is no number on it, or the number that used to be there is gone. Those five are Sprinklr, Meltwater, PromoRepublic, Oktopost, and Emplifi. This page records the state of each of those pages on 2026-08-24, what our own dated record already holds behind each wall, and where the missing number means three different things. RecurPost gets a sixth row on the same evidence, because the disclosure below requires it to be read the same way as the rest. The Directory listed 35 profiles when we counted it on 2026-08-24, and this report classifies six of them and makes no claim about the other 29.
Which tracked vendors publish no price on their own page
Every row below comes from a fetch of the vendor’s own page on 2026-08-24. None of the six pages was unreachable, script-only, or geo-blocked on that date, so no row carries an UNVERIFIABLE status.
| Vendor | Page checked (2026-08-24) | What the page publishes | Status on 2026-08-24 | Number on record at followedapp.com |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Sprinklr | www.sprinklr.com/pricing/ | Nothing. The URL returns HTTP 404, and sprinklr.com’s own navigation carries no pricing link, only Demo, Login, and Support | Pricing page gone | Archived figure only, on what Sprinklr Social offers and costs |
| Meltwater | www.meltwater.com/en/pricing | Four tiers (Starter, Pro, Enterprise, Agency), each with a Contact Sales button and no price field. The page’s own FAQ states a 12-month minimum contract length and no self-serve free trial | No numbers published | None. Structure only, on what Meltwater offers and costs |
| PromoRepublic | promorepublic.com/en/pricing/ | Three tiers (Build, Grow, Enterprise), each with a Request a quote button. The page’s structured data carries three Offer objects and zero price fields, and all three point at the same Calendly discovery call | No numbers published | Yes, from inside the product. See PromoRepublic’s current numbers |
| Oktopost | www.oktopost.com/pricing/ | Two priced tiers, Professional “from $499 /mo (billed annually)” and Advanced “from $799 /mo (billed annually)”, both resolving to Request a quote, under the line “Final quote depends on team size and add-ons” | Floor prices published, final price quoted | Yes, though the annual figures on Oktopost’s published annual prices do not match the page today. See the note below |
| Emplifi | emplifi.io/pricing/ | Social Marketing Essential “Starting at: $1,249 / Month” and Advanced “Starting at: $2,499 / Month”. Social Marketing Intelligent shows “Custom quote”, as do Social Care Essential and Advanced and Social Commerce Essential and Advanced. The Intelligent tiers of Social Care and Social Commerce show “Coming in 2026” and route to Get a quote | Partly published | Yes, on what Emplifi offers and costs |
| RecurPost | recurpost.com/plans-and-pricing/ | Starter $9/mo, Personal $25/mo, Agency $79/mo for 20 social accounts and 3 users, extra account $4/mo, extra teammate $20/mo, 14-day trial with no card. Enterprise, from 100 accounts, shows “Custom pricing” and Request Enterprise pricing | Published below Enterprise, quoted at Enterprise | Yes, on RecurPost’s profile |
Disclosure again, at the row that needs it: RecurPost is published by the same team as this site, it sits in this table on the same evidence as the other five vendors, and its top tier hides a number exactly as Meltwater’s four tiers do.
Oktopost note, dated. On 2026-07-16/17 we verified and published Professional at $8,000/year and Advanced at $12,000/year. On 2026-08-24 the same page publishes “from $499 /mo (billed annually)” and “from $799 /mo (billed annually)”, which annualize to $5,988 and $9,588. The figures differ, we have not established when they changed, and the dated event entry belongs in the Watchdog’s record of tools that moved published prices rather than here.
Who each of these vendors is built for matters as much as the missing number, because a price-free page is not evidence that a vendor competes with the tool a reader is already using. Meltwater is an enterprise PR and media-intelligence platform monitoring 270,000-plus news sources with a journalist database of 1.4 million-plus contacts, and it is not a social scheduler (profile verified 2026-07-16/17). Sprinklr sells a unified customer-experience suite across 30-plus channels to large enterprises (profile verified 2026-08-24). Oktopost sells B2B employee advocacy and marketing attribution, LinkedIn-first, with no Pinterest and no Google Business Profile (profile verified 2026-07-16/17). Emplifi’s $1,249/mo entry price sits well above most of the Directory (profile verified 2026-07-16/17). PromoRepublic organizes everything around Locations for multi-location and franchise marketing rather than general scheduling (profile verified 2026-08-24).
Our sibling tracker sets the scope this report draws on: ten vendors over five months, all independently verified, with 16 vendors re-checked on 2026-07-27 and all 16 re-checked again on 2026-08-17. Read what we have verified so far for that change log. This page holds the standing state instead.
Three reasons a number is missing
A missing price means one of three things in the cases we have verified, and the three are not interchangeable.
- Withdrawn self-serve: Sprinklr. Sprinklr ended its Self-Serve purchasing program on April 30, 2026, and the pricing pages that previously listed a self-serve Advanced tier now return 404. We re-fetched www.sprinklr.com/pricing/ on 2026-08-24 and got HTTP 404 again, with no pricing link anywhere in the site navigation. The dated event sits at Sprinklr ended its self-serve program on April 30, 2026.
- Always sales-led: Meltwater. Meltwater publishes no price on www.meltwater.com/en/pricing, and it never withdrew a self-serve program, because it did not run one. The page’s own FAQ, read on 2026-08-24, says Meltwater does not offer a self-serve free trial and that most contracts run a 12-month minimum.
- Merely unlisted while the product still sells itself: PromoRepublic. PromoRepublic’s public page publishes no number, and we re-confirmed that on 2026-08-24. Self-serve signup was never removed. Our correction entry, verified 2026-08-24 with an in-app screen captured on 2026-08-20, records a working self-serve tier behind that page.
The line the taxonomy turns on is already published, and we take it from the entry that owns it: at Sprinklr the self-serve program genuinely ended and the pricing pages return 404, while at PromoRepublic the pricing merely went unlisted, so both hide a number but only one withdrew the product. Source: PromoRepublic still sells self-serve at $49, behind its quote-only page, verified 2026-08-24.
A hidden number is not evidence of an expensive product. PromoRepublic is the case that settles it: the public page shows nothing, and our own dated record shows a self-serve tier at $49/mo on annual billing behind it. A buyer running 10 social profiles who reads that page, concludes the tool is out of reach, and leaves is acting on the page rather than on the product.
Dates of disappearance are thinner than dates of events. For Sprinklr we have the event date, April 30, 2026. For PromoRepublic we have our verification date, 2026-07-17, and not the day the numbers came off the page. For Meltwater we have no date at all, because there is no published price on record to have lost. Any newly established date belongs first in shutdowns and market-access changes.
Sales-led is not the same as price-free
Oktopost sells through sales only and still publishes prices. On 2026-08-24 www.oktopost.com/pricing/ published Professional at “from $499 /mo (billed annually)” and Advanced at “from $799 /mo (billed annually)”. The page carries no signup, trial, or registration link, only Sign in, Book a demo, and Request a quote, and it states that the final quote depends on team size and add-ons. Oktopost belongs in the sales-led-with-published-prices column, not the hidden-number column.
Oktopost fits B2B marketing teams that need CRM and marketing-automation attribution (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo, Dynamics, Eloqua, Pardot, Act-On) tied to employee advocacy, plus Smarsh-based compliance archiving. It does not fit anyone who needs Pinterest or Google Business Profile, neither of which it supports. Both conditions come from Oktopost’s profile, verified 2026-07-16/17. A B2B team can price the floor of an Oktopost deal from the public page before it books a call, which is exactly what a buyer cannot do at Meltwater.
Emplifi is a partial-disclosure case. On 2026-08-24 emplifi.io/pricing/ published two Social Marketing tiers with numbers, Essential at “Starting at: $1,249 / Month” and Advanced at “Starting at: $2,499 / Month”, and priced nothing else. Social Marketing Intelligent, Social Care Essential and Advanced, and Social Commerce Essential and Advanced all show “Custom quote”, and the two Intelligent tiers under Social Care and Social Commerce are labeled “Coming in 2026” with a Get a quote route. Emplifi’s unlimited seats and owned profiles on every tier is a real advantage past roughly 8 seats, and its $1,249/mo entry is not a small-team price. Both readings come from Emplifi’s profile, verified 2026-07-16/17. Buyers who care about listening should note that on the profile it is a separate add-on or bundled only into the Intelligent tier, which is one of the tiers Emplifi quotes rather than prices.
RecurPost is the same shape at the top of its range, and the disclosure applies: this site is published by the team behind RecurPost. On 2026-08-24 recurpost.com/plans-and-pricing/ published Starter at $9/mo, Personal at $25/mo, and Agency at $79/mo for 20 social accounts and 3 users, with extra accounts at $4/mo and extra teammates at $20/mo, then stopped publishing at Enterprise, which reads “Custom pricing” for 100-plus accounts and routes to Request Enterprise pricing. A buyer above 100 accounts gets the same blank space from RecurPost that a buyer gets from Meltwater at every tier.
The add-on and module rows decide the rest, and reading only the plan cards misses them. Emplifi prices two Social Marketing tiers and quotes the other seven tiers across Social Marketing, Social Care, and Social Commerce. PromoRepublic’s own comparison table marks 23 cells “Add-on”, including review marketing, review generation workflows, listing management, local search analytics, leaderboards and benchmarks, executive dashboards, data warehouse integrations, and white label, and attaches a price to none of them (verified 2026-08-24). Oktopost’s page says the quote moves with add-ons without naming their prices. For the categories these vendors sit in, see the listening and monitoring category, the approval and agency workflow category, and the analytics and reporting category.
What is verifiably behind each wall
Sprinklr’s last public self-serve Advanced tier ran roughly $299/seat/mo before the pages were pulled. That figure is archived, it is ours from the Sprinklr profile verified 2026-08-24, and it describes a program that ended on April 30, 2026. Nobody can buy at it today.
Meltwater’s structure is what sits behind its wall, not a price. The vendor’s own page on 2026-08-24 shows four tiers (Starter, Pro, Enterprise, Agency), each assembled from selectable capabilities: Media Intelligence, Social Listening, AI Visibility Tracking, Media Relations, and Influencer Marketing on the Enterprise and Agency tiers. The same page states a 12-month minimum contract length. That term is structural, and it is not a discount question.
PromoRepublic’s real numbers exist and are already published here. Our correction entry, verified 2026-08-24 from an in-app pricing screen captured on 2026-08-20 inside a trial account we opened ourselves, records a self-serve entry tier at $49/mo on annual billing and an agency tier at $79/mo on annual billing, with a 14-day trial and no card required. The tier table, the seat and profile counts, and the capture provenance belong to that entry and to the profile. We did not re-open a trial account for this report, so those in-app figures carry their 2026-08-20 capture date and not today’s.
Oktopost and Emplifi publish their floors, and a floor is not a total. Oktopost states that the final quote moves with team size and add-ons. Emplifi’s two published Social Marketing prices are labeled “Starting at”. Neither page publishes the add-on prices that decide the final invoice.
Contract benchmarks
A contract or deal-size benchmark appears on this page only with a named publisher and a publication date attached to it. No figure on this page comes from a third-party article, listicle, or aggregator, and none of the benchmark numbers that circulate for these vendors met that test in this session.
Not verified: A contract or deal-size benchmark for Sprinklr, Meltwater, Oktopost, or Emplifi from a named publisher with a publication date, obtained directly from that publisher rather than quoted secondhand. Until one exists on file, this report publishes no average contract value.
When a page cannot be read
UNVERIFIABLE is a status, not a finding. A page we cannot read is not a page with no price, and we say we could not verify rather than guessing. The precedent is on the tracker: on 2026-08-17 Publer was unverifiable behind its bot wall, and its previously published claims were left standing with their original date. All six pages in this report returned readable HTML to a browser user agent on 2026-08-24, and none needed that label. Where a vendor page geo-serves another currency, we report the US price; none of the six pages served a non-US currency by default on 2026-08-24, and recurpost.com/plans-and-pricing/ offered USD, EUR, GBP, INR, and AED as a selector with USD shown first.
Where we got this wrong, and what we changed
On 2026-07-17 we logged PromoRepublic’s quote-only pivot and closed the entry by saying the change closed the tool off to smaller buyers who previously could sign up directly. That conclusion was wrong. We corrected it on 2026-08-24: the public page is still price-free, and self-serve signup never stopped.
The July entry stands with a correction stamp at PromoRepublic’s July 2026 quote-only pivot, and the full correction, including how we tested it, is at PromoRepublic still sells self-serve at $49, behind its quote-only page.
How to read a pricing page that shows no number
Five checks, in the order that resolves the most doubt for the least effort.
- Look for a signup or trial path away from the pricing page before you conclude the product is out of reach, because PromoRepublic’s survived a page that stopped naming a price.
- Check whether the pricing URL returns a 404 or simply omits numbers, since Sprinklr’s 404 and PromoRepublic’s silent omission mean different things about whether you can buy at all.
- Ask the vendor for the module list and the contract minimum in the same message as the price, because Meltwater’s page states a 12-month minimum and that term will not move the way a discount might.
- Read the add-on and module rows, not the plan cards, since PromoRepublic marks 23 comparison cells “Add-on” with no price and Oktopost says the quote depends on add-ons.
- Check our dated record before you spend a sales cycle on a number, because a figure we already captured and dated costs you nothing to read.
A quote request is worth the sales cycle when the platform is module-priced, the shortlist is already down to one or two vendors, and the contract term is part of the decision. It is not worth the cycle when the requirement is general scheduling, which vendors that publish their prices already cover: what scheduling tools cost right now holds the per-channel and per-account math for those.
This page names no winner. For which tool to actually buy, read which tool wins, by use case and budget, or best tools under $30 a month if the budget is the constraint.
What quote-only, sales-led, and partial disclosure mean here
Quote-only describes a vendor whose own pricing page publishes no price field and routes every tier to a quote request. Meltwater and PromoRepublic both met that definition on 2026-08-24.
Sales-led describes a purchase that runs through a salesperson, with no self-serve signup or public trial. Prices may still be published. Oktopost was sales-led and price-publishing on 2026-08-24.
Partial disclosure describes a page that publishes a price for some tiers or modules and quotes the rest. Emplifi and RecurPost both met that definition on 2026-08-24, at opposite ends of the price range.
Filing convention, for readers following the record: when a vendor takes published prices off its page, the entry goes under shutdowns and market-access changes, as Sprinklr’s and PromoRepublic’s did. When a vendor moves numbers it still publishes, the entry goes under tools that moved published prices.
FAQ
Why does a social media tool’s pricing page show no price?
Three different situations produce a price-free page. Sprinklr withdrew its self-serve program on April 30, 2026, and its pricing URL now returns 404. Meltwater was always sales-led and has no self-serve program to withdraw, with four tiers and a stated 12-month contract minimum on its page as of 2026-08-24. PromoRepublic stopped publishing numbers while its self-serve product kept running, which we verified on 2026-08-24.
Does quote-only pricing mean the tool is expensive?
No, and PromoRepublic is the case that proves it. Its public pricing page published no number on 2026-08-24, while our correction entry of the same date records a self-serve entry tier at $49/mo on annual billing from an in-app screen captured on 2026-08-20.
Can I still sign up for PromoRepublic without talking to sales?
You could on 2026-08-20, when we registered a new account directly from the site with a 14-day trial and no card required, and the public page was still price-free when we re-checked it on 2026-08-24. Read the full test in our correction entry before you rely on it.
Can I still buy Sprinklr without a sales cycle?
You cannot. Sprinklr ended its Self-Serve purchasing program on April 30, 2026, www.sprinklr.com/pricing/ returned HTTP 404 when we checked it on 2026-08-24, and sprinklr.com’s navigation on that date offered a demo rather than a price.
Is Oktopost quote-only?
Oktopost is sales-led rather than quote-only. On 2026-08-24 its pricing page published Professional at “from $499 /mo (billed annually)” and Advanced at “from $799 /mo (billed annually)”, with no signup or trial link and a stated dependency on team size and add-ons for the final quote.
Why does followedapp not publish an average contract value for these vendors?
A benchmark figure needs a named publisher and a publication date before it can appear here, because a vendor’s own page is our source of truth and third-party articles are not. No benchmark met that test for this report, so this page publishes none.
What does followedapp do when a pricing page cannot be checked?
We label it UNVERIFIABLE, say that we could not verify it, and leave the previously published claim standing with its original date. On 2026-08-17 Publer sat behind a bot wall and got that treatment. All six pages in this report were readable on 2026-08-24.
Is followedapp connected to any of these vendors?
followedapp.com is published by the team behind RecurPost, and RecurPost is covered at its own profile under the same rules as every other vendor. RecurPost publishes its self-serve prices, and it quotes its Enterprise tier, which puts it in the same partial-disclosure column as Emplifi in the table above.
Where to get the number
Every profile in the Directory carries a dated price, the add-on rows underneath it, and a Verified date at the top. Start at every tool we track for the profiles, what changed in this market recently for the dated entries behind each change, and what scheduling tools cost right now when the vendor does publish numbers and the question is what they add up to. More original datasets sit at the Research Desk, and the current state of the social media tools market is the front page of the record.
